Equipment

  • 1 cocktail shaker

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 shot Hennessy or Cognac
  • 1 shot Cointreau or Triple Sec Liqueur
  • 1/2 shot Lemon juice
  • Handful Ice
  • 2.5 ml sugar syrup optional

Instructions
 

  • Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake that baby as shaking to blend some melted ice is key to perfecting this cocktail.
  • Grab your cocktail glass, plate of sugar as the sugar rim is considered to be integral to this cocktail - it is!
  • Strain into a chilled glass with sugar rim. Add lemon rind - twisted.
